Tom and Jerry Cocktail

Christmas rush of preparing for the holiday is gaining momentum with each passing day, and less and less time for the most important day.

And this process is always accompanied by some questions. The first – where, how and with whom to celebrate, and the second – that we will eat, and most importantly drink.

Despite the traditional holiday drink – champagne, I propose to surprise your friends and relatives with unusual cocktail, which you can do at home without any difficulties.

Today we have scheduled cocktail “Tom and Jerry.”

At its main ingredient is certainly the whiskey, which are diluted by hot milk. It was invented in the 19th century, more precisely in 1820, by Pierce Egan, English sports columnist. Name – is the name of two characters in his novels – Jerry Horton and Koritiana Tom. And they say that it was caused by the result of the popularity of theatrical performances.

Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients:

 

  • Single malt Scotch – 50 ml
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • 2 quail eggs
  • Icing sugar – 15 g

Instructions:

How to mix:
  1. In one bowl whisk quail egg whites, in another bowl whisk together yolks and icing sugar.
  2. Pour both mixtures in a warm glass; add whisky and warm milk.
  3. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
