Recipe for an Energizing Morning: How to Make a Smoothie with Tropical Fruits, Berries, and Nuts

What comes to your mind when you hear the word “tropical”? For me, it instantly brings up images of a sunny island surrounded by crystal-clear ocean waves. Palm trees, warm sand… and right in front of me, a huge platter filled with all kinds of exotic fruits.

For Natasha Dekhtyareva, the author of today’s recipe, the tropics mean smoothies! And today, she will show us how to make a smoothie with tropical fruits, berries, and nuts.

Smoothies are the perfect meal for any time of the day. Of course, you probably won’t make one in the middle of the night—you’re more likely to grab a quick snack (which, let’s be honest, we don’t recommend, but we’re guilty of it too). But starting your day with a smoothie, especially one made with tropical fruits, berries, and nuts following Natasha’s recipe, guarantees a great day ahead.

Even picky school kids who usually turn up their noses at breakfast will love this smoothie. First, you can customize it with their favorite fruits, making it super delicious. Second, let’s be honest—a smoothie bowl looks so visually appealing that you just want to grab a spoon and dig in. And third, it’s incredibly healthy, so parents can rest easy knowing their child is fueled up with a nutritious breakfast before heading off to school.

If you’re feeling a little down or tired during the day, a smoothie is the perfect pick-me-up. You don’t even have to make it right before drinking—prepare it in advance and store it in the fridge. Don’t worry, you won’t forget about it—it’s hard to ignore something that delicious waiting for you!

We, on the other hand, tried Natasha’s smoothie in the evening. Since our workday was still in full swing, that energy boost was exactly what we needed. You’ll find out how to make this tropical fruit, berry, and nut smoothie in today’s video. And if you’re wondering about the ingredients and proportions, just check the list below.

As for me, I think I’ll go grab something sweet—these recipes always send me straight to the fridge! 😊
