Guacamole with shrimp ceviche

Guacamole is sauce, but rather an appetizer made of avocado. This is traditional Mexican dish. Although not Mexican. It has become wildly popular among the appetizers and supercedes all over the world.

History of guacamole goes far in the past century. It is believed that the Aztecs opened the guacamole recipe, but there is no evidence of this. Well, while some important historians decipher the inscription on an ancient Mexican pyramids.

And there is no a clear and traditional guacamole recipe, depending on the region and the country, may vary the quantity and cutting the ingredients, then one thing remains unchanged – the presence of avocado, lime and salt.

Guacamole with shrimp ceviche

Ingredients:

  • 4 pcs. Avocado
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 50 g Green celery
  • 2 pcs. Purple Onion
  • Salt to taste
Ingredients for shrimp ceviche
  • 200 g Cocktail Shrimp
  • ½ units. red pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Cilantro for decoration

Instructions:

Guacamole
  1. Cut the avocados in half and take away the bone. Take away all the pulp with the help of spoon. Shift it
  2. in a separate bowl, and thoroughly mash the avocado pulp with a fork or blender until it will be creamy. Adds sliced ​​onion, green celery, lime juice and salt.
  3. Mix thoroughly.
Ceviche
  1. You need to cut finely shrimps. Clean pepper of seeds and cut in small cubes. In a bowl, mix shrimps, pepper, olive oil, pepper, salt. Let infuse for 10 minutes.
Service
  1. On warm scones put the guacamole, ceviche on top and decorate with cilantro.
