Pork Steak with Sauce

Moldavian cuisine is considered as one of the healthiest in the world. Traditional Moldova dishes were formed for centuries. We have cooked with you placinta, one of the most famous pastries thought Moldova cuisine.

Today we will cook a meat dish. Pork steak with sauce muzhdu by Denis Brovceac, Chef at La Butuc.

Muzhdu is a traditional sauce, which is served with meat, made on the basis of vegetables and garlic.

Pork steak is a real main dish. A solid piece of meat on the bone generously seasoned, marinated and fried in hot skillet. Cookig of pork steak i very quickly and most importantly in this process, it does not retain moisture. The meat should be juicy.

Most often, pork steak like many Moldovan dishes is cooked on gratale (grill). The recipe is very simple and will not take you much time.

Pork Steak with Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Pork Steak – 300 g
  • Salt – 2 g
  • Black pepper – 1 g
  • Vegetable oil – 50 g
  • Tomatoes – 30 g
  • Sweet pepper – 20 g
  • Chili – 2 g
  • Garlic – 2 g
  • Parsley and dill – 4 g
  • Vinegar 6% – 10 g
  • Water – 50 g
  • Butter – 20 g

Instructions:

Meat clean, rinse, dry.

  1. Marinate at salt and pepper and vegetable oil for about 15 minutes.
  2. While meat is marinating, prepare the sauce.
  3. Tomato, sweet pepper, chili pepper, garlic, parsley and dill finely chop.
  4. Add the oil, vinegar diluted with water, salt, black pepper. Mix.
  5. Roast meat on the coals.
  6. Ready pork steak spread on a plate, pour the sauce.
  7. Bon Appetit!
