Privacy policy

Short version: you can read Food'n'Chef without an account, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell data. Last updated: October 2026.

Who is responsible

Learning Horizons Hub LLC, New York, USA, publisher of Food'n'Chef. Contact for any privacy question: [email protected].

What we collect

Server logs. Like every website, our server records technical data of each request: IP address, time, page requested, browser type. We use these logs only to keep the website running and secure, and delete them within 30 days.

Settings in your browser. The website remembers your choice of metric or US measures in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device.

Email. If you write to us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

What we don't do

No advertising networks, no tracking cookies, no selling or sharing of personal data. If we add anonymous visitor statistics or a newsletter, this page will say so before it starts, and a newsletter will always need your explicit sign-up.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days.

Chefs and people in our stories

Stories, portraits and names of chefs are published with their participation for journalistic purposes. A chef can ask us at any time to correct their story or to remove personal details.
